Christine M. Fitzgerald

Christine M. Fitzgerald is an associate at Andrews • Lagasse • Branch & Bell LLP, where she focuses her practice on general liability, professional liability, and employment law. Ms. Fitzgerald's general liability practice focuses on the defense of institutional clients in a variety of general liability claims, from slip and falls to catastrophic injury and fatalities. Ms. Fitzgerald's professional liability practice inlcudes the defense of a variety of professionals, including design professionals, brokers and agents, and other miscellaneous professionals. Ms. Fitzgerald also represents employers in all types of litigation and pre-litigation counseling, including union/labor disputes, discrimination, wage and hour claims including class action and representative actions (PAGA), as well as other employment-related torts and contracts, practicing in state and federal court, as well as before administrative agencies. She also represents a variety of clients, including property owners and management companies and other institutional clients, in a broad range of liability matters.

Prior to joining Andrews • Lagasse • Branch & Bell LLP, Ms. Fitzgerald spent two years clerking for the Honorable Mark D. Houle, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge, in the Central District of California, and two years clerking for the Honorable Scott C. Clarkson, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge, in the Central District of California. While clerking Ms. Fitzgerald organized, and participated in outreach programs to educate attorneys on revisions to the local rules and various chambers procedures.

Before clerking, Ms. Fitzgerald worked at a boutique bankruptcy firm that specialized in bankruptcy, commercial litigation, and transactional matters. Ms. Fitzgerald received her J.D. in 2008 from Loyola Law School, where she volunteered at the Nonprofit Tax and Transactional Clinic. In 2005, Ms. Fitzgerald earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Political Science from The Pennsylvania State University.

Ms. Fitzgerald is admitted in California, as well as the Southern, Central, Eastern, and Northern U.S. District Courts in California.
